Onion WHITE SKY

White Sky onion is a mid-season hybrid of bulb onion intended for growing bulbs in a one-year culture from seeds. The bulb has an oval shape and weighs from 90 to 120 grams. Dry scales are white, while juicy scales are white with a greenish tint, with the number of dry scales being 2-3. The neck is of medium thickness, single-chambered, and the onion has a semi-sharp taste. This variety is distinguished by high commercial yield, which reaches from 476 to 554 centners per hectare, which is 35-60 centners higher than the standard Valentino F1. Ripening before harvesting is 87%, and after curing it reaches 100%. White Sky is well adapted to various soil and climatic conditions and is recommended for growing in the Lower Volga region. It is characterized by resistance to fusarium, which significantly facilitates care and increases yield reliability. The onion is suitable for growing both in open ground and in closed conditions, making it a universal choice for different types of enterprises. The average maturation period is about 60 days, which allows obtaining a quality crop in optimal terms. In addition to bulb onion, the White Sky variety is characterized by good transportability and appearance, which makes it attractive for commercial growing and marketing. The onion has a semi-sharp taste, which expands its application possibilities in cooking, including fresh salads and various dishes. High yield, disease resistance, and adaptability to growing conditions make White Sky an excellent choice for farmers and gardeners seeking to obtain a stable and quality crop.
