Extra Early Gold F1

Onion Extra Early Gold F1 is an autumn hybrid of bulb onion developed by United Genetics. It has a vegetation period of about 240 days, allowing selective harvest as early as mid-May. The hybrid is characterized by high yield, reaching 50–85 tons per hectare, making it very productive and promising for cultivation.

Onions of Extra Early Gold F1 have a round shape and golden-brown (bronze) color of outer scales. Inner scales are juicy and snow-white, with a delicate and pleasant taste. The average weight of one onion is 200–250 grams. The green part of the plant is dark green, indicating good development and health of the crop.

The hybrid has high frost resistance and is not prone to bolting, ensuring stable yield even under changing day length. Extra Early Gold F1 is resistant to pink rot, significantly improving product quality and preservation. Onions of this variety have a long storage life — up to 90 days, allowing their use both for fresh market sales and for drying.
