Short-day variety. In Ukraine, it is grown as a winter crop with a vegetation period of about 290 days; the vegetation period may vary significantly depending on the length of the winter dormancy period. It tolerates winter well and produces few generative stems in spring. In spring, it quickly forms large bulbs. Bulbs are large, round, uniform in size, attractive yellow in color, and of high external scale quality. When overwintered at the 4-5 leaf stage, it withstands short-term frosts down to -15°C and long-term frosts down to -9 to -12°C. Main cultivation direction — obtaining marketable product in May–June. Unlike seedlings, it has a high content of dry matter, making it suitable for processing industries. Average yield — 60-65 t/ha.
