Almagro onion is an early-maturing vegetable crop with round, brown-golden bulbs. Bulb mass ranges from 100-150 grams to 2-3 kg depending on growing conditions, with a dense internal structure and semi-pungent flavor. Maturation period is 70-100 days, allowing this variety to be used for both early and later harvests.

The variety is low-maintenance and highly productive, yielding approximately 75 tons per hectare. Almagro onion is well-suited for industrial harvesting due to its strong self-shading ability and excellent marketability. It can be grown from seeds sown in winter or early spring, or from sets, offering flexibility in agronomy.
