Rubinstein F1 is an early parthenocarpic hybrid of the cornichon type, developed by specialists at Rijk Zwaan. This variety has a medium-early maturity period — fruits are ready for harvest 35-45 days after planting, depending on weather conditions. The plant is strong, open-type with small leaves, which facilitates care and promotes good ventilation. The hybrid is suitable for cultivation both in open and protected ground, showing high resistance to sudden weather changes and various diseases, including powdery mildew, cladosporeiosis, and cucumber mosaic. Rubinstein cucumber fruits have a cylindrical, elongated shape, 11-13 cm long and weighing 50-100 grams. The skin is dense, thin, dark green with small, densely arranged spines and slightly raised bumps. Fruit color remains even when overripe, making them attractive for sale and processing. The flesh is crisp, juicy, with a firm texture and few seeds, ensuring excellent taste. These characteristics make Rubinstein cucumbers ideal for pickling, salting, and industrial fermentation.
