Focusing on Textile Industry Requirements

The «Lazurny» flax variety (fiber flax) is a specialized tool for agricultural producers focusing on high-quality fiber yield. Developed by the Federal Research Center for Bast Fiber Crops, this variety is engineered to meet the stringent demands of textile processing plants where fiber strength and uniformity are paramount.

Operational Benefits and Farming Efficiency

The choice of «Lazurny» in farm management is driven by clear economic objectives:

• Premium Fiber Production: The primary strength of this variety is its output of high-grade long fiber, which commands a better market price and fulfills strict industrial supply contracts.
• Mechanical Harvesting Optimization: The consistency of the plant stand and uniformity in stalk maturation facilitate the calibration of harvesting machinery, reducing field losses during the pulling phase.
• Input Management: While the variety performs best under controlled soil fertility and rotation programs, the final quality of the raw material justifies the investment in precision farming practices.

For modern agricultural enterprises, «Lazurny» serves as a hedge against volatility in fiber quality. By ensuring that the harvested material conforms to textile production standards, farmers can stabilize their supply chains and maximize the value per hectare, effectively reducing processing inefficiencies at the primary production stage.
