Luchezarnyy

Oilseed flax variety Luchezarnyy is an early and medium-early variety recommended for cultivation in various regions of Russia, including the Lower Volga, Central Black Earth, and North Caucasus. The vegetation period is about 88 days, which ensures an early start of flowering and allows for effective use of the variety in the agro-climatic conditions of the specified regions. The plant stem is of medium length, with the height of attachment of lower branches of about 22 cm, and the color of the corolla in the bud stage and at full development is white, which is a characteristic feature of the variety. Seeds are yellow, the mass of 1000 seeds is about 6.1 grams.

The variety is characterized by high resistance to drought and shattering, which is confirmed by assessments of 3.7 and 4.0 points respectively. In addition, Luchezarnyy demonstrates high resistance to diseases, as damage was not observed during field trials. The fat content in seeds varies from 40.8% to 44.0%, which makes this variety attractive for oilseed production. Seed yield in various regions reaches 6.8-8.7 centners per hectare, which corresponds to standards and ensures a stable income when growing.
