Rapeseed variety «Rucheek» is an early-maturing, high-oil content crop with a vegetative period of 80-86 days and an average plant height of 58-66 cm. Seeds of this variety are characterized by a mass of 5.8 to 7.3 grams for 1000 seeds and an oil content of about 49-50%, which ensures high oiliness and value for oil production. The variety's flowers are light blue, with white elements of stamens and pistils, while seeds have a brown color. The variety was bred by individual selection from a complex hybrid combination and is distinguished by the absence or weak spotting of the calyx, as well as characteristic fringed false septum of the capsule.
«Rucheek» is distinguished by high yield, which according to test data reaches 14.3-8.9 c/ha, and can potentially reach up to 25 c/ha under optimal cultivation conditions. The variety is well adapted to various soil-climatic conditions and demonstrates high responsiveness to high agronomic background, which allows significantly increasing productivity when using modern agronomic techniques. The optimal plant density at harvest is 500-600 plants per square meter.
The variety is resistant to major diseases and pests, including Fusarium wilt, anthracnose, polysporosis, and bacterial blight, which ensures yield stability and reduces loss risks. Due to its characteristics, «Rucheek» is widely cultivated in the Volga-Vyatskaya, North Caucasus, Middle Volga, and Lower Volga regions. High oil content and favorable fatty acid composition make this variety in demand for oil production and processing.
