The plant reaches a height of 85-95 cm, with a long stem and the attachment height of the lower branches ranging from 28.7-35 cm. The flowers are of medium size, with petals having a blue-violet hue in the bud stage and blue color when fully developed. The capsule is of medium size with fringed false septum, and the seeds are light-brown or brown, weighing 6-7.9 g per 1000 seeds. Drought resistance is rated at 3.5-4.1 points, while resistance to shattering and lodging reaches 5 and 4.8 points, respectively. Over the years of field testing, no disease damage was observed, indicating high adaptability and reliability of the variety in various climatic conditions. The oil content of the seeds is about 52%, and the fat content in the seeds reaches 44.2-50%, making this variety particularly valuable for producing edible oil. The yield of the 'Chibis' variety varies depending on the growing region and can reach 12.2-25 c/ha. The sowing rate is 7-8 million viable seeds per hectare. Due to its characteristics and high oil content indicators, the variety is widely used to obtain high-quality edible oil. Its resistance to unfavorable conditions and high productivity make 'Chibis' an attractive choice for agricultural producers in various regions.
