Lily Maxi

Professional standards in cut flower production

When selecting hybrids for commercial cultivation, predictability and handling efficiency are paramount. The 'Maxi' variety, developed by the 'Agropromyshlennoe Obshchestvo Taytsy' and the I.V. Michurin Federal Research Center, is specifically designed for the professional segment of Asian hybrids. Operating this crop requires no specialized agricultural techniques, yet it performs exceptionally well under standard irrigation and fertilization regimes.

Technical Specifications and Performance

• Growth and Structure: Reaching 80–100 cm in height, the plants feature sturdy stems capable of supporting large blooms without additional staking, even in high-density plantings.
• Flower Metrics: With a flower diameter of 15–20 cm, the variety provides excellent marketability. The total absence of fragrance is a critical advantage for indoor floral arrangements, preventing unwanted olfactory interference.
• Aesthetic Value: The vibrant orange color remains consistent under various lighting conditions, ensuring high visual quality for final sales.

Operational Maintenance

The 'Maxi' variety exhibits the typical hardiness and disease resistance associated with Asian hybrids. Maintenance of the plantation is straightforward: basic prophylactic measures against fungal pathogens during high humidity periods and timely harvesting. The simple flower shape simplifies the bouquet-making process and significantly reduces the risk of petal damage during shipping and handling. The variety does not suffer from excessive vegetative spread, allowing operators to effectively manage planting density and accurately forecast yields per square meter. It is a reliable choice for any commercial grower focusing on consistency and quality control.
