Lily TARRANGO

A stately aristocrat for your garden

The 'Tarango' lily from 'Ваше хозяйство' (Vashe Hozyaystvo) is that rare plant that sets the tone for an entire landscape. From the moment you plant it, you realize this is a variety for those who refuse to compromise between flower size and fragrance. With a height of 120–150 cm, it acts as a striking dominant feature in any flower bed, so it is important to consider wind exposure when planning your planting site: in windy areas, a support system is highly recommended.

'Operational' insights for your garden

The main strength of this hybrid is its massive blooms, measuring over 20 cm in diameter. They feature a classic trumpet shape and an incredibly intense fragrance that fills a significant part of the garden in the evening. The pink petals look sophisticated and do not fade in the sun, which simplifies maintenance—no need to constantly manage shading.

• Soil Requirements: Like all varieties from 'Ваше хозяйство', this hybrid responds well to well-drained, nutrient-rich loams. Stagnant water is its main enemy, so when planting in containers, a layer of expanded clay (leca) of at least 5 cm is mandatory.
• Placement: Ideally suited both for accent groupings in flower beds and for solitary planting in large floor pots.
• Cultivation: Standard watering at the base is sufficient. Its impressive height requires timely fertilization with potassium-rich nutrients during the budding phase to ensure stalk strength and vibrant color.

If you are looking for a plant that requires minimal intervention while delivering a "catalog-quality" aesthetic, 'Tarango' is your reliable investment in garden beauty.
