TARRANGO

Lily Tarrango – an annual variety with large flowers 20-25 cm in diameter and a bright pink petal hue. The plant reaches a height of 130–140 cm, forming an upright bushy stem with lanceolate green leaves. Tubular-shaped flowers face backwards, and buds gather in wavy racemes.

The blooming period lasts up to 3 weeks, typically from late July to August, while the scent becomes particularly intense in the evening. Lily Tarrango grows well in open ground as well as in containers, making it versatile for decorating rockeries, mixed borders, verandas, or balconies.

The variety is distinguished by high resistance to diseases and pests when proper agrotechnics are observed. It is winter-hardy up to zones 3–4, withstands temperatures down to -30 °C without cover. For planting, the bulb depth is 10–15 cm, and the optimal time is March-May. The plant requires moderate watering and a sunny or semi-shaded location.
