Balerina

Ballerina — an Austrian mid-early silage corn hybrid with a vegetation period of 113-125 days, suitable for cultivation as grain or silage. This hybrid is characterized by high yield and excellent resistance to major corn diseases, including rust, helminthosporium, blister and smut, as well as stalk and ear rot. Thanks to its vigorous growth and well-developed root system, Ballerina demonstrates good drought and frost resistance in early growth stages, ensuring stable nutrition and development of the plant under various climatic conditions, such as steppe and forest-steppe.

Plants reach a height of 200-220 cm, with ear attachment height of 75-80 cm. The grain is dent type, large, with thin kernel, forming in 16-18 rows, with grain yield at harvest reaching 78-79%. The hybrid is characterized by excellent moisture shedding and resistance to lodging, facilitating harvest and improving crop quality.

For optimal cultivation, recommended planting density is: 75-85 thousand seeds per hectare for grain production and 90-100 thousand seeds per hectare for silage production. Ballerina combines high productivity, resistance to adverse factors and adaptability, making it a profitable choice for farmers aiming to obtain high-quality and stable corn yields.
