Argentum

Argentum is a medium-early simple modified hybrid of sweet corn developed by the Institute of Grain Crops of NAAN Ukraine and the company APK MAIS. This hybrid is of universal purpose, suitable for both grain and silage production. It is characterized by rapid grain moisture loss during ripening, which contributes to reducing harvest moisture to 17%, as well as stable and high yield.

The Argentum hybrid responds well to improved growing conditions, making it attractive for various agroclimatic zones. The best regions for cultivation include Vinnytsia, Dnipro, Zakarpattia, Poltava, Rivne, Ternopil, Kharkiv, Khmelnytskyi, Cherkasy, and Chernivtsi regions.
