Description LACTIMO
LACTIMO — a high-yielding fodder beet variety, intended for feeding farm animals. The roots of this variety have an oval-cylindrical shape and a rich orange color with a smooth and shiny surface. Due to its high dry matter content, the beet has excellent taste qualities. The vegetation period is approximately 120 days, allowing for a high yield — up to 150 tons per hectare. The variety is resistant to bolting and retains juicy green tops until harvest, enhancing its feeding value.

LACTIMO exhibits enhanced drought resistance and adaptability to various soil types, making it suitable for diverse climatic conditions. Plants can withstand brief frost: seedlings up to -3 degrees, mature plants up to -5 degrees. The roots are well-suited for both manual and mechanical harvesting due to their high marketability and large size. Seeds are sown from mid-April to early May, with sowing depth varying from 2 to 4 cm depending on soil type, and row spacing of 45-60 cm.

Fodder beet LACTIMO is a valuable source of nutrients, including proteins, vitamins, and minerals, making it an excellent feed for pigs, goats, sheep, rabbits, and cattle. Its high dry matter content and juicy tops provide complete nutrition for animals, promoting their health and productivity. Due to its characteristics and resistance to adverse conditions, this variety enjoys well-deserved popularity among farmers and livestock producers.
