Tubers are oval-round in shape, with yellow skin and cream-colored flesh, weighing 81-133 grams. Starch content in tubers is 15.0-16.2%, making this variety versatile for various culinary dishes belonging to the BC culinary type. The taste of tubers is rated as good to excellent, and marketability reaches 82-95%, indicating high product quality.
Yield of the Fokinskii variety ranges from 161-304 centners per hectare, with maximum yields reaching 324 centners, significantly exceeding standards of some other varieties. Storage quality of tubers is high, around 90%, ensuring good preservation and product retention over a long period. Typically, there are 9 to 12 tubers per plant.
The variety demonstrates resistance to several diseases, including potato late blight, phytophthora blight and tuber rot, crinkle and mosaic viruses, and leaf curl virus. However, it is susceptible to golden potato cyst nematode. Recommended for cultivation in the Central region of Russia in open ground, with planting in May; optimal planting scheme is 60 x 35 cm, and planting depth is 8-10 cm.
