Potato variety Sudarynya is a medium-early table variety with a maturation period of 75-85 days. The plant is tall, intermediate type with semi-erect form, large green leaves with strong wavy edges and large vein pattern. Tubers are oval-round in shape with medium-depth eyes, yellow skin and light-yellow flesh. Marketable tuber mass ranges from 104 to 143 grams, and the number of tubers per cluster varies from 6 to 25. Starch content ranges from 13.9-15%, providing good and excellent taste, as well as low breakdown, making this variety especially suitable for salads and fried potatoes. The yield of Sudarynya variety is high and stable, reaching from 258 to 366 centners per hectare, with maximum yields up to 444 centners per hectare. Tubers have a marketability of 82-94%, and storability reaches 97%, indicating good product preservation during storage. The variety shows resistance to several diseases, including potato cancer, golden potato cyst nematode (pathotype R01), late blight of foliage and tubers, and common scab. Additionally, the variety exhibits relative resistance to rizoctonia, enhancing its reliability under various agroclimatic conditions. Sudarynya potato is an intensive variety, recommended for cultivation in various regions due to its high productivity and disease resistance. It is suitable for a wide range of culinary applications, including boiling, frying, and salad preparation, thanks to its flavor qualities and flesh structure.
