Description NAPOLEON
The potato variety "Napoleon" is the result of Dutch breeding and registered in Ukraine. It was specifically developed for deep industrial processing, including the production of potato chips, French fries, and dried potato mash. Thanks to its high dry matter content, exceeding 24%, this variety ensures high-quality end products and optimal texture after thermal processing.

"Napoleon" is distinguished by high yield and resistance to several diseases, such as potato cancer and golden nematode, which contributes to stable and reliable production. Moreover, the variety is characterized by low levels of reducing sugars and minimal tendency to darken after processing, which is especially important for maintaining the appealing appearance and taste of products.

The variety is suitable for medium- and long-term storage at optimal temperature around +9°C, allowing it to maintain its quality and nutritional properties for an extended period. The low acrylamide level in the finished product makes "Napoleon" a safe choice for consumers, which is an important advantage from the standpoint of food safety. Seed potatoes of this variety are expected to be available for sale in autumn 2025.
