Sintex F1 cabbage is a mid-late maturing hybrid of white cabbage, developed by seed specialists from Bejo Zaden, the Netherlands. The maturation period is approximately 83 days, making this variety suitable for summer cultivation. The plant exhibits high adaptability and stress resistance, easily adjusting to climate changes thanks to its well-developed root system, ensuring a stable yield in various regions, including all areas of Ukraine. The optimal planting density of seedlings is 40,000–45,000 per hectare, which contributes to achieving a high yield of marketable produce—up to 90%. The Sintex F1 cabbage heads have a round shape with a dense, whitish structure when cut. The heads are covered with light green leaves featuring a strong waxy coating, with slight blistering and waviness along the edges. The head weight ranges from 1.7 to 3 kg, with a short or medium-length inner stem, facilitating handling and processing. Due to its dense structure and excellent taste qualities, the cabbage is suitable for both fresh consumption and cooking various dishes. Consumers note its pleasant taste and good digestibility. Sintex F1 shows high resistance to major cabbage diseases such as fusarium and vascular bacteriosis, significantly reducing crop losses and improving product quality. The hybrid maintains its marketable qualities throughout the harvesting period, as well as during transport and short-term storage. This makes it an advantageous choice for farmers and producers targeting the fresh market. Sintex F1 seeds are suitable for cultivation in open ground and provide high yields with proper agronomic practices.
