Description SAMUR 2
Savoy cabbage variety Samur 2 represents a cold-resistant mid-late variety with a maturity period of about 140 days. The plant is sprawling with medium-sized green leaves with a bluish tint. Heads have an oval-flat shape, 18-20 cm in height, dense structure, light green color on the outside and white inside. Yield is stable and high, reaching 4.3 kg per square meter.

Variety Samur 2 is well adapted for cultivation throughout Russia, except for the most northern regions. It is resistant to bolting, which allows its use for autumn sowing. For successful cultivation, regular watering and sufficient amount of mineral fertilizers are required. In prolonged hot climate, head growth may slow down. Cabbage may be susceptible to some diseases, such as vascular bacterial wilt and black rot, however the variety has good disease resistance.

This cabbage variety is distinguished by excellent taste and is suitable for various processing methods, including pickling and salting. Seeds of the Samur 2 variety are suitable for both open ground cultivation and autumn sowing, making it a universal choice for gardeners and farmers of different experience levels.
