Counter F1 cabbage is a high-yielding late-maturing hybrid of white cabbage, developed by the Dutch seed company Bejo Zaden. The maturation period is approximately 146 days, allowing this variety to be stored for up to 6-8 months. Heads are round, gray-green in color, and weigh between 3 to 5 kilograms. Inner leaves are thin and dense, providing an attractive structure and high-quality produce. Due to its density and market appearance, Counter F1 cabbage is ideal for pickling, home cooking, and transportation.
The hybrid exhibits high resistance to a range of bacterial diseases, including fusarium and ring spot, significantly increasing the yield of quality produce. A strong root system contributes to drought resistance, enabling the plant to thrive even under limited water conditions. Counter F1 is not demanding in terms of fertilizers and adapts well to various soil types, making it suitable for cultivation across different regions of Ukraine.
Counter F1 cabbage can be grown both as seedlings and direct sowing into open ground, with a recommended planting density of 30-40 thousand plants per hectare. The hybrid is also suitable for cultivation under protective cover, expanding its application in agriculture. Thanks to its characteristics, Counter F1 is a reliable choice for farmers seeking high-quality harvests with long storage capabilities.
