Gigant

Gigant F1 cabbage is a medium-early, high-yielding hybrid developed by the French seed company Clause. The vegetation period is 110-120 days from transplanting seedlings to harvest. The plant is adapted to various climatic conditions and tolerates temperature fluctuations well, making it suitable for cultivation both in open and protected ground. The hybrid is resistant to fusarium (HR: Foc:1), ensuring reliable yields and reducing disease risks.

The heads are round in shape, with dense structure and short core. Leaf color varies from light green to dark green with a glossy surface, while the interior is white. Head weight ranges from 3.5 to 6 kg depending on planting density, recommended at 25-30 thousand plants per hectare. The cabbage holds well in the field, does not crack, and retains its market appearance during transport and storage, allowing storage up to 6 months.

The hybrid has excellent flavor qualities due to its sugar and vitamin C content. Gigant cabbage is versatile in use: suitable for fresh consumption, salad preparation, as well as for pickling, fermentation, and culinary processing.
