Insecticide for protecting apple trees, grapevines, and plums from fruit borers and leafrollers.
The product is toxic to fish and highly toxic to aquatic organisms. Toxic to bee brood and silkworm larvae. Application in gardens during flowering is not recommended. Application of INSEGA is not permitted if mulberry trees used for silkworm breeding are within a 2 km radius.
Purpose
INSEGA — a non-systemic, stomach and contact-acting insecticide for protecting apple trees, grapevines, and plums from fruit borers, leafrollers, and other pests. INSEGA acts as an insect growth and development regulator (disrupts transition between developmental stages). In addition, INSEGA has sterilizing and pronounced ovicidal effects.
Advantages
prevents damage to fruits and berries by pests
highly effective at high temperatures
included in the Integrated Plant Protection System
Compatibility with other pesticides
The product is compatible in tank mixtures with most commonly used fungicides and insectoacaricides with neutral reaction for garden protection. However, compatibility of mixed pesticides should be checked in each specific case.
Duration of protective effect
Up to 30 days.
Speed of action
The effect of the product becomes apparent during the insect's transition between developmental stages.
Application technology
Cleanliness of the tank, main pipelines, nozzles, and overall sprayer functionality should be checked before protective treatments begin. Then determine the amount and evenness of water delivery through nozzles and compare with calculated data on working liquid consumption per 1 hectare. Spraying should be done in early morning or late evening hours under calm weather conditions, avoiding drift onto neighboring crops. After completing treatment with the product, thoroughly rinse the sprayer and spraying equipment. If INSEGA is used in tank mixtures with other pesticides, follow this order of dissolving the products in the sprayer tank: *INSEGA > SK > KE > VR (* — if using a water-soluble package, dissolve this product first in the sprayer tank).
Phytotoxicity
Following the manufacturer's recommendations strictly, there is no risk of phytotoxicity.
Recommendations for protecting beneficial flora and fauna
The product is toxic to fish and highly toxic to aquatic organisms. Toxic to bee brood and silkworm larvae. Application in gardens during flowering is not recommended. Application of INSEGA is not permitted if mulberry trees used for silkworm breeding are within a 2 km radius.
Possibility of resistance development
Absent if manufacturer's recommendations are strictly followed
Storage of the product
Store the product in a dry, dark place at temperatures from -10°C to +35°C.
Application periods:
Maximum effectiveness is achieved only when the product INSEGA is applied within the recommended periods!
Complex of garden leafrollers (overwintering larvae): single application suppresses development of subsequent leafroller generations. Treatment with the product is recommended when pest reaches the economic threshold of damage. Optimal application period for INSEGA — emergence of fifth-stage larvae, before or after flowering.
Grape and two-year leafrollers: treatment is carried out during mass moth flight. Exact application timing is determined by pheromone monitoring according to regional recommendations. In case of cold and prolonged spring, when pest flight periods are extended, repeat treatment every 10-12 days. Against the second generation of leafrollers, apply full dose during mass moth flight, or twice at 300 g doses with 10-12 day intervals.
Apple, plum, and eastern fruit borers: first treatment with the product is conducted during mass flight — beginning of egg-laying. Exact application timing is determined by pheromone monitoring according to regional recommendations. If necessary, repeat treatments during mass flight of subsequent generations (typically every 4-5 weeks).
Preparation of working solution: fill ¼-1/2 of the sprayer tank with clean water, turn on the mixer, add the calculated and measured amount of the product directly into the sprayer tank, and continue filling the tank while mixing. Continue mixing during treatment to ensure uniform working solution. The prepared solution should be used within several hours after preparation.
Shelf life
