The 'AUTUMN MEMORIAL' kumquat tree has an average height of about 2.8 m and a widely pyramidal crown with branches diverging from the trunk at a right angle. The trunk bark is gray and deeply furrowed, while the shoots are straight and of medium length. Leaves are large, obovate, green and glossy on top, slightly short-pubescent underneath; they are rounded at the base. In autumn, the leaves acquire a yellow-orange hue.
The fruits of this variety are large, conical, ribless, weighing from 154 g to 230 g and standing 46–75 mm tall. The peel is thin, smooth, glossy, colored yellow-orange with a very thin waxy bloom. The flesh is dark orange, juicy, with a texture similar to liquid jam and slight fibrousness; at full ripeness, the taste becomes sweet and slightly astringent, with a weak aroma.
The variety is characterized by regular fruiting, yielding 80–120 kg/tree (or 334 c/ha depending on conditions), good transportability – fruits retain freshness for up to 15–20 days during transportation. 'AUTUMN MEMORIAL' kumquat is suitable for both direct consumption and industrial processing and drying, due to its high sugar content (≈ 20 %) and vitamin C (≈ 42 mg).
