AGAFYA

The 'Agafya' Persimmon is a variety distinguished by its bright orange fruit color and juicy, soft flesh with a slight acidity reminiscent of honey aroma. The medium-sized fruits (diameter 7–8 cm) have smooth, shiny skin, making them attractive to consumers.

The variety is characterized by high endurance and frost resistance, allowing it to be grown in various climatic conditions, including northern regions. The tree is of medium height with a rounded crown; leaves are dark green and smooth, while fruits are uniform, ribless, and have good peel separation.

'Agafya' is rich in vitamins C and A, potassium, and fiber, making it beneficial for strengthening the immune system and improving digestion. Fruits can be consumed fresh, added to salads, used in dessert preparation, or for canning. Due to good transportability, they are suitable for both home consumption and commercial sale.
