Mode of action
The active ingredient is absorbed through the roots and leaves of plants, blocking protein synthesis in sensitive plants, which leads to cessation of cell growth and death of weeds. When applied prior to crop emergence, broadleaf weeds stop growing at the two-leaf stage, while grassy weeds stop growing at the coleoptile stage. When applied after crop emergence, weed growth is halted within a few hours after treatment. However, signs of action may not be noticeable in the first days after application. Complete weed death occurs within 3-6 weeks after application.

Due to its prolonged soil activity, the product eliminates not only actively growing weeds but also those that germinate, thus providing reliable protection for crops over an extended period.
The herbicide SERP® does not adversely affect crops when applied according to the recommended guidelines.

Application recommendations
The product can be applied during pre-sowing cultivation, to a depth of no more than 6 cm, or after sowing until crop emergence; however, in dry conditions, it must be incorporated into the soil using cultivators. The most effective application of the herbicide SERP® occurs at early crop development stages (3-4 true leaf stage), when broadleaf weeds have no more than 4 leaves and grassy weeds have 2-3 leaves.
The working solution should be prepared on the day of application. The product should be mixed thoroughly first. Fill the sprayer tank with water to 1/3, activate the mixing mode, and add the required amount of product. Top up the sprayer tank with water to full capacity while the mixing mode is active. The mixing mode should remain active during application to maintain a homogeneous working solution. Application rate: 200-400 L/ha. Maximum number of applications: 1 per season.
Warnings:
The product should not be applied more than once every 3 years on the same field.
After application, the use of herbicides from the groups of sulfonylureas and imidazolinones is not recommended on the treated area throughout the season.
Do not mix SERP® with other grass-specific herbicides.
SERP® may have negative effects on certain subsequent crops in rotation for the following periods:
4 months — winter wheat;
11 months — corn, barley, spring wheat, oats, winter rye;
18 months — sunflower, sorghum, rice, millet;
26 months — sugar beet, rapeseed, and vegetables.
Green plant material can be used for animal feed only 45 days after application of SERP®.
