Heuchera Buzkovyi Tuman

A Product of Ukrainian Breeding Excellence

The 'Buzkovyi Tuman' (Lilac Mist) variety is a notable achievement by the M.M. Gryshko National Botanical Garden of the NAS of Ukraine. Developed to thrive in regional climatic conditions, this Heuchera has become a reliable staple for professional landscapers and home gardeners looking for localized, resilient plant material.

Key Botanical Attributes

Standing between 40 and 60 cm tall, this variety forms robust, dense mounds. The foliage is a classic, vibrant green, providing a sophisticated backdrop for its inflorescences. During the flowering stage, the plant produces spikes of pink to crimson flowers, which create the soft, misty visual effect from which the variety derives its name.

Garden Performance and Placement

• Light Requirements: Specifically bred for performance in shade and partial shade, where the plant maintains its structural integrity and color.
• Growth Habit: Recognized for its rapid growth rate, making it an excellent candidate for filling garden borders or quickly establishing ground cover in shady corners.
• Versatility: Its consistent height and color palette make it ideal for mass planting, container gardening, or as a contrasting element next to ferns and hostas.

The reputation of 'Buzkovyi Tuman' rests on its adaptability and low-maintenance profile. By prioritizing growth vigor and shade tolerance, Ukrainian breeders have created a plant that performs reliably without the need for intensive intervention. For those looking to integrate native selection into their garden design, this variety offers a perfect balance of aesthetic appeal and horticultural performance.
