Heuchera Girl's Primrose

Ukrainian breeding for gardens with character

Heuchera 'Divochi Prymkhi' is a point of pride for the Ukrainian breeding school, developed by scientists at the M.M. Gryshko National Botanical Garden of the NAS of Ukraine. This variety was a response to landscape designers' demand for plants capable of maintaining decorative appeal in Ukraine's changing climate without sacrificing aesthetic value.

A visual palette and habit

The main feature of this variety lies in the complex interplay of colors. The foliage of 'Divochi Prymkhi' varies from rich green to deep red and purple shades, creating a striking backdrop for flowering. The plant is compact, reaching 20–30 cm or 40–60 cm in height depending on growing conditions. Flower stalks 30–50 cm tall add dynamic movement to the bush, blooming for 45–60 days with elegant white, pink, or red flowers.

Why 'Divochi Prymkhi' is a professional's choice

• Winter hardiness: The plant retains its foliage even through the winter, making it an essential tool for creating year-round attractive compositions.
• Design application: An ideal solution for borders where both planting density and texture variety are crucial.
• Reliability: As a product of the Gryshko National Botanical Garden, this variety is adapted to local soil and climatic conditions, reducing the risks associated with cultivating Western European introductions.

This variety embodies a modern trend in landscaping: the use of low-maintenance yet visually rich perennials that deliver consistent results for many years.
