Description Moskvichka
Autumn variety of the Moscow Agricultural Academy named after K. A. Timiryazev. Selected from seedlings of open-pollinated 'Kiffer'. Breeders: S. T. Chizhov, S. P. Potapov. Widely grown in the Moscow region. Approved in the Central, Volga-Vyatka, and Middle Volga regions.

Tree of stem type, medium height. Crown is funnel-shaped in youth, conical and dense at full fruiting, with medium leafiness. Bark color of the stem is gray, scaffold branches are light gray. Scaffold branches are inclined-vertical. Buds are sessile. Bud dormancy is above average. Branching ability is medium.

Shoots are brown, curved, medium length and thickness, round in cross-section, internodes medium length, no pubescence. Stipules are medium number, small, convex. Buds are deviated, conical, dark brown. Leaves are medium size, oval, green, curved along the central vein, elastic (leathery), medium thickness, smooth, no pubescence on upper and lower surfaces. Leaf margin is serrated. Petiole is medium length.
Flowers are medium size, cup-shaped, single-layered, white corolla. Inflorescence is shield-shaped panicle, medium number of flowers (5-7), white buds. Flowering is late.

Fruits are medium size, 120-130 g, broad pear-shaped, uneven in size. Skin is greenish-yellow with numerous small lenticels. Rust is often strong, in the form of irregular spots. Blush is absent or very weak. Pit is absent. Dish is wide, small, weakly ribbed.
Flesh is white, dense, very juicy, semi-oily, with granules near the core. Flavor is very good, slightly sour-sweet, with strong aroma. Chemical composition of fruits: 16.2% dry matter, 13.1% soluble substances, 9.5% sugars, 0.48% acids, 220 mg/100g P-active substances.
Autumn consumption period. Maximum storage life of fruits 80-100 days (at 0°C). Fruit drop is weak. Transportability is medium. Fruit quality is high.
Fruits are of universal use.
Self-sterile. Pollinator varieties: Yakovleva's 'Lyubimitsa', 'Moscow Bergamot'.
Early fruiting. Yield is above average. Yield per tree up to 35 kg. Fruit set is regular. Resistant to extreme environmental conditions and diseases. Winter hardiness is medium. Resistant to scab and fruit rot.
