ALYANIKO is a wine grape variety of Italian origin, characterized by a medium ripening period. The leaves of this variety are of medium size, weakly lobed, with three or five lobes, and the lower surface is covered with dense bristly-hairy pubescence. Bunches can be medium-sized, cylindrical or conical in shape, with varying density - from loose to dense. Berries are of medium size, round, blue in color with a characteristic waxy bloom (pruina), and the flesh is juicy. Alyaniko bushes have high growth vigor, which contributes to high yield. The sugar content of the berry juice ranges from 20-22 g per 100 cm3, and the titratable acidity is 5-6 g per dm3, which makes this variety particularly attractive for winemaking. Due to its characteristics, Alyaniko grapes are widely used for producing quality wines. The variety is characterized by good resistance to drought and downy mildew, which facilitates its cultivation under various climatic conditions. However, it is less resistant to powdery mildew and gray rot, which requires certain attention during vineyard care. Overall, Alyaniko represents a promising variety for winemakers who value the combination of high berry quality and resistance to adverse factors.
