TERMEZIY is a decorative variety of sweet pea (Lathyrus odoratus), distinguished by its two-toned flower coloring: pink sail and white-pink standards. The plant reaches a height of about 1.75 m and is characterized by strong foliage. Leaves are dark green, and on the main shoot, usually six main branches grow.
The TERMEZIY variety begins flowering early – within 78 days from the start of vegetation to the beginning of flowering. From June 10 to September 5, the plant produces abundant inflorescences: the average number of inflorescences on the main shoot is 18.4 pcs., and the inflorescence length is about 19.43 cm. Each inflorescence contains 4–5 flowers, and the total number of inflorescences over the entire flowering period reaches about 210 pcs. The sail is round and smooth with straight edges (dimensions 2.58×2.9 cm), and the standards are semi-opened, with a standard length of about 2.1 cm.
TERMEZIY has a strong aroma, which intensifies during the mass flowering period (around July 5). The variety is resistant to unfavorable weather conditions, diseases, and pests. For successful cultivation, a sunny location with drained soil is required; it is necessary to follow agronomic recommendations for sowing, soil preparation, watering, and plant care, as well as to prevent diseases and pests. Thanks to its decorativeness and aromatic properties, TERMEZIY is a popular choice for gardens and landscape compositions.
