Hezbana is an early-maturing pea variety intended for fresh market use, as well as for freezing and canning. The fruits of this variety are characterized by a dark green pea color, reaching technical maturity with the formation of up to 9 seeds per pod. The peas are distinguished by their tender taste and high quality characteristics, making them in demand for various processing and consumption methods.
The Hezbana plant has a balanced structure with stems of medium length, and lower pods form at a height of 29 to 39 centimeters. A feature of the variety is the friendly and uniform ripening of the fruits, which facilitates harvesting and increases its efficiency. Thanks to these characteristics, the variety is successfully grown in various regions, including Ukraine, provided timely early spring sowing.
The Hezbana variety is resistant to a number of diseases, including PEMV, BYMV viruses, as well as fungal infections caused by Fusarium oxysporum race 1. This ensures crop stability and reduces the risk of losses during cultivation. Seeds are supplied by the manufacturer Hazera from the Netherlands, packaged in quantities of 100,000 pieces, which is convenient for large-scale agricultural production.
