Gladiolus Talisman

A Gem of Ukrainian Breeding

The 'Talisman' gladiolus represents a pinnacle of the miniature gladiolus class, developed by the experts at the M.M. Gryshko National Botanical Garden of the NAS of Ukraine. In the context of modern landscape design, where elegance and ease of care are paramount, this variety occupies a unique niche, distinct from conventional tall hybrids.

Versatility and Design Potential

Reaching a height of 40–60 cm, this variety shows remarkable adaptability to various cultivation environments:

• Container Gardening: 'Talisman' thrives in pots and planters, making it a perfect choice for patios, balconies, or terrace gardens.
• Flowerbeds and Borders: Its compact stature eliminates the need for staking, as the plant remains wind-resistant and sturdy throughout the season.
• Floristry: Professional florists favor the miniature format for its ability to create delicate, sophisticated arrangements that heavy, large-scale blooms simply cannot replicate.

The hallmark of this variety is the combination of prolonged blooming and high aesthetic value. It is the ideal selection for gardeners seeking consistent beauty with minimal maintenance. 'Talisman' is a testament to purposeful breeding, addressing the modern demand for plants that balance visual impact with practicality in any setting.
