Kills weeds at the moment of germination, either pre-emergence or within 10-20 days after emergence.
Provides protection for 1-2 months.
Does not adversely affect potatoes.
Working liquid dosage — 3L/100m².
One of the most challenging aspects of field work is caring for the potato crop. Thanks to the successful experience of our and foreign growers, potatoes can yield excellent harvests, with the only obstacles being the Colorado beetle and weeds. While we can manage to cope with the first pest, weeds are a common problem, not just for potatoes. If their development is not controlled, they can reduce yield to nearly zero. To prevent this, chemical agents should be used to protect potatoes from weeds, and in recent years, these agents have become more effective due to advances in the chemical industry. One such product is Lazurit. It is one of the most effective and provides almost immediate weed eradication when applied pre-emergence and very prompt action — post-emergence (10-20 days). Lazurit, by destroying weeds on potatoes, does not affect the crop itself, allowing its use without ecological risk. Additionally, Lazurit provides active protection against subsequent weed emergence on potatoes, resulting in significantly higher yields when used.
Lazurit — the main herbicide for combating annual weeds on potatoes and tomatoes. The herbicide Lazurit is produced in Russia.
The herbicide Lazurit is used to combat many species of annual broadleaf and grass weeds.
Penetrates weeds through two pathways: roots and leaves.
The herbicide Lazurit provides prolonged herbicidal action.
The herbicide Lazurit has a broad range of application: pre-emergence or post-emergence.
Can be applied in split doses, allowing reduction of the dosage.
The herbicide Lazurit provides significant yield increase and improved quality.
Formulation:
Wettable powder containing 700 g/kg metribuzin.
Active ingredient characteristics:
Metribuzin belongs to the group of 1,2,4-triazines.
Mode of action:
Lazurit is primarily absorbed by weed roots but can also penetrate through leaf tissue. It moves acropetally. The herbicide kills weeds at the moment of germination when applied pre-emergence or within 10-20 days after emergence.
Duration of protective effect:
Lazurit provides protection for the crop against weeds for 1-2 months depending on weather conditions and field cultivation level (weed seed reserve in soil, species diversity).
Herbicidal activity spectrum:
Annual broadleaf and grass weeds.
Sensitive to Lazurit: Ambrosia arborescens, blue vervain, veronica (species), Galinsoga parviflora, burnet (species), field mustard, goosegrass (species), Descurainia sophia, dandelion (species), common ragweed, creeping buttercup, common starwort, Theophrastus’ knotgrass, field cabbage, Kochia scoparia, water-lily (species), field pennycress, marigold (species), annual meadow grass, medicinal dandelion, garden sorrel, black nightshade, pigweed (species), purslane, barnyard grass, non-fragrant chamomile, wild radish, sowthistle (species), common chickweed, shepherd’s purse (species), field lettuce and others.
Compatibility:
To broaden its spectrum of action, Lazurit can be combined with other herbicides. When mixing agents in the sprayer tank, follow this order: Lazurit, SP => SP => VSK or SK => VR => KE. Each subsequent component is added only after the previous one is fully dissolved. Before application, check the mixture for compatibility and phytotoxicity relative to the treated crop.
