Highly effective herbicide for the eradication of a broad spectrum of annual broadleaf and grass weeds on many economically important crops.
Form of preparation and active ingredient:
Emulsifiable concentrate containing pendimethalin, 330 g/l.
Chemical class:
Dinitroaniline derivatives.
Packaging:
Bottles of 1 L.
Barrels of 10 L.
Protective period:
A single application of the product into the soil is sufficient to protect the crop for 4-6 weeks.
Mode of action:
Inhibits cell division and growth processes in the stems and roots of weeds, causing weeds to die shortly after germination. The product, adsorbing onto the first roots and seedlings, inhibits cell division in the meristems of sensitive plants. Sensitive weeds die immediately after seed germination or emergence of seedlings. LIRON also controls sensitive weeds that have already emerged: grasses in the 1-1.5 leaf stage, and broadleaves up to 2 true leaves.
Properties and advantages:
Pre- and post-emergence herbicide, more effective on light soils;
Eradicates weed seedlings and seedlings;
Weakly volatilizes from the soil surface, so no incorporation after herbicide application is required;
Long-lasting protective period;
Broad herbicidal spectrum.
