Systemic herbicide for the destruction of vegetating annual and perennial grassy weeds in broadleaf crop fields
Active ingredient: quizalofop-P-tefuryl, 40 g/l
Manufacturer: Peters & Burg Ltd, Hungary
Formulation: concentrate emulsion
Packaging unit: 5-liter canister
Mode of action of the product
Upon application, the product is rapidly absorbed by the vegetative mass of weeds, translocated to the growing points of plants, where it inhibits lipid synthesis.
Signs of herbicidal effect
First visible signs of herbicidal effect, such as yellowing of weeds, appear 5-10 days after application. Complete death of weeds occurs within 2-3 weeks after treatment.
Recommendations for use of the product
The product is applied by ground spraying at a rate of 200-300 liters/ha of working solution.
Entry of people for mechanized work is permitted 3 days after application; for manual work — 7 days after application.
Growth stage of crop plants
The product may be applied regardless of the growth stage of crop plants. Exception: crops from the Cucurbitaceae family (application is allowed after the formation of 5 true leaves on the crop plants).
Growth stage of weeds
Maximum efficacy of the product is observed during active growth and development of weeds. This period corresponds to the formation of 3 leaves before the start of the rosette stage for annual grasses and at a height of 10-20 cm for perennial grasses.
Weather conditions
Optimal air temperature during application is +15...+20°C. Cool weather conditions (when average daily temperature is less than +12°C), water deficit, frost, and any other stress factors for plants slow down the product's action and may reduce its efficacy.
Rainfall within 3 hours after application does not affect the product's efficacy.
Crop rotation restrictions
Due to rapid degradation, application of the product Lemur imposes no restrictions on planting the next crop in the rotation.
Warnings
Since the herbicide Lemur has no soil activity, it does not kill weeds emerging from seeds after application.
Application of Lemur is not recommended if crop plants are under stress.
Mechanical cultivation is recommended to be performed no earlier than 7 days before application and no later than 21 days after application.
Compatibility with other products
The product is compatible with the majority of pesticides and agrochemicals, except those that form alkaline reactions. However, in each specific case, a preliminary test for compatibility and phytotoxicity must be conducted.
When applying the product with fungicides based on benomyl or mancozeb, the herbicide Lemur should be added to the spray tank only after complete dissolution of these fungicides.
Preparation of working solution
To prepare the working solution, fill the spray tank with water to half its volume, turn on the mixing mode, and add the required amount of product. Fill the spray tank with water to full capacity while the mixing mode is still active. The mixing mode must remain continuously active during application to maintain the working solution in a homogeneous state.
