"Lemur" is a systemic, post-emergence herbicide containing quizalofop-P-tefuryl (40 g/l). Its primary mode of action targets the inhibition of acetyl-CoA carboxylase (ACCase), a vital enzyme for fatty acid synthesis in grasses. Once the active ingredient is absorbed through the leaf surface, it translocates through the phloem to the plant's meristems and rhizomes. This mechanism is crucial for eliminating difficult perennials like couch grass (Elymus repens), ensuring that the weed does not regenerate after treatment.

The emulsifiable concentrate (EC) formulation is designed to ensure superior wetting and penetration, which is vital for efficacy in the field. As a selective herbicide, "Lemur" is engineered specifically to target grassy weeds while leaving broadleaf crops like soybeans, sunflowers, and winter rapeseed unharmed. With an application rate of 1.0 to 2.0 L/ha, it offers flexibility to address various infestation levels.
