— Best partner for grass herbicides.
Compatibility with other pesticides:
If necessary, the herbicide LANCELOT 450 WG can be used in tank mixtures with fungicides, insecticides and liquid nitrogen fertilizers, as well as with grass herbicides based on isoproturon, chlorotoluron, clodinafop, fenoxaprop, diclofop-methyl, tralkoxydim and sulfosulfuron. When preparing tank mixtures and applying them, it is necessary to comply with the application regulations of all products in the mixture. Before preparing the working solution from the mixture of products, check their physical compatibility in a small container.
Possibility of varying crops in crop rotation:
After applying the herbicide LANCELOT 450 WG on this field, the following crops can be grown in crop rotation:
— in autumn (after spring application): winter cereals, winter rape, grasses;
— in spring of the next year: cereals, spring rape, mustard, perennial grasses, sugar beet and fodder beet, carrots, fennel, corn, sorghum, sunflower, tomatoes, potatoes, cabbage, flax. Clover and chicory can be grown no earlier than 10-11 months after application of the product;
— no earlier than 14 months after application of the product: all crops mentioned above, as well as chickpea, pea, soybean, lentil, beans.
If replanting is necessary during the application season, on the same field corn, sorghum, spring cereals and grasses can be grown. In this case, deep plowing is required before sowing.
Protective period:
The main herbicidal effect of the product is manifested in plants that have been directly treated with the product. Since the product also penetrates into plants through root uptake from the soil, there is a short-term (2-3 weeks) soil effect on new seedlings of some sensitive weed species. Depending on the weed species composition, weed development stage at the time of treatment, weather conditions before, during and after treatment, final weed death occurs 2-3 weeks after application.
Speed of action:
The product begins to act immediately after penetration into the plant. Weed growth stops within one day after treatment. The first visible signs of weed suppression appear 1-2 days after application, and final weed death occurs 2-3 weeks after application and depends on the weed species and development stage, degree of infestation, as well as weather conditions before, during and after application. The product shows rainfastness within 1 hour after application.
Application technology: Broadcast post-emergence spraying of vegetating plants.
To achieve maximum efficiency, the product must be applied using properly calibrated equipment. Optimal temperature for application is from +8 to +25°C. Under these conditions, plants grow well, which, in turn, stimulates rapid penetration of the herbicide into the plant and active transport to the plant's growth points. Weeds in the developmental stages from 2 to 8 leaves are most susceptible to the product's action. In case of application during late crop development stages or early stages, but with weeds in the stage > 8 leaves, perennial weeds, or in sparse plantings, the higher registered dose of the product is recommended. Application is not recommended on days when frost is forecasted or immediately after frost. Application is not recommended if the crop is under stress (drought, severe pest damage or disease, etc.). Adding a non-ionic surfactant may improve product efficiency, especially under water deficit conditions, for certain weed species.
Working solution preparation and sprayer filling are performed on special areas that will later be decontaminated. The working solution is prepared immediately before spraying. To prevent nozzle clogging, clean water should be used. Fill 1/3 of the sprayer with water. With the sprayer mixer running, add the required amount of product, calculated for one filling and based on the area to be treated. Fill with water to full capacity and mix the solution. Rinse the remaining container several times with water and pour into the sprayer.
Do not apply the product to cereal crops with clover, alfalfa or other legume intercrops. Do not spray the product if frost is expected shortly after application. Do not allow the working solution to drift onto adjacent fields planted with sensitive crops. Do not apply the product on waterlogged fields. On fields intended for planting crops sensitive to the product's action, as well as in greenhouses, including for seedling or mushroom cultivation, it is prohibited:
• use of composts or mulches prepared from plant residues, including straw from treated fields, or animal manure fed with such straw, or if such straw was used as animal bedding;
• use of animal manure fed with straw from treated fields, or if such straw was used as animal bedding. In case such straw was used as animal bedding, manure application is permitted only if such manure is incorporated into the soil as soon as possible. In this case, the period from manure application to planting legumes, vegetables, sunflower and potatoes should be:
— not less than 6 months,
— or not less than 4 months if soil temperature > +5°C.
Aminopyralid degradation in plant residues occurs faster in warm and moist soil and can be accelerated by additional irrigation.
Phytotoxicity: Phytotoxicity does not occur on treated crops when application regulations are followed.
Possibility of resistance development: Not known to date. The formulation LANCELOT 450 WG contains two active substances with different modes of action, which significantly reduces the likelihood of resistant weed populations forming.
Storage of the product:
Store in a dry, cool, well-ventilated area, in undamaged manufacturer packaging, separately from food, water, animal feed, pharmaceuticals and cosmetics, and fertilizers. Keep children away from the product storage area! Storage temperature must be no lower than -20°C and no higher than +40°C.
Shelf life: 3 years from the date of manufacture.
