Advantages
indispensable herbicide in combating difficult-to-eradicate weeds, such as species of sowthistle, dandelion, dock, and others;
characterized by high biological efficacy;
due to its systemic action, it eliminates not only the above-ground parts but also the root systems of weeds;
characterized by high selectivity towards protected crops;
provides protective action throughout the entire vegetation period;
exhibits synergism when mixed with other herbicides recommended for combating broadleaf and grassy weeds.
Formulation
Aqueous solution containing 300 g/l cloquinate
Mode of action
Systemic auxin-type herbicide. The herbicide is absorbed by leaves and roots, easily translocated within the plant, accumulating in growth points and roots.
Duration of protective action
Provides protection for crops against weeds throughout the entire vegetation period.
Speed of action
The product quickly penetrates weed plants. Growth suppression occurs within several hours after application. Visible signs of action appear within 4-7 days, and weed death occurs within 10-15 days. Efficacy and speed of action depend on application rates, weather conditions, and weed condition at the time of herbicide application. Maximum efficacy is achieved when applied to the leaves of young, actively growing plants. Not recommended for use at low temperatures (below +10°C).
Spectrum of controlled weeds
Perennial and annual broadleaf weeds
sensitive species: Ambrosia artemisiifolia, common burdock, blueweed, field vetch, docks (various species), creeping goosegrass, common sowthistle, common purslane, common groundsel, dandelions (various species), sowthistles (various species, including Tartar milkweed), shepherd's purse, black nightshade, field pennycress, chamomile (various species), shepherd's purse (various species), yarrow (various species).
moderately sensitive species: Veronica (various species), field bindweed, common mustard, medicinal mullein, field forget-me-not, plantain (various species), common wormwood, garden purslane, wild radish, common smolovka.
weakly sensitive species: spreading waterleaf, self-seeding poppy, sticky burdock.
Compatibility
The product is compatible with formulations based on fenmedifam, desmedifam, etofumate, metamitron, MCPA, and 2,4-D in salt forms, sulfonylureas.
To broaden the spectrum of controlled weeds, it is recommended to use in tank mixtures with herbicides for eliminating broadleaf (Aminopelik, Lintaplan, Fenizan, Betaren FD-11, Betaren Express AM, etc.) and grassy (Furex, Panther, etc.) weeds. On sugar beet crops, it is recommended to use in combination with betaren-based herbicides + Forward, MKЭ.
Potential for resistance development
Not detected.
Application technology. Preparation of working solution
In cases of high weed infestation and active weed growth, use the maximum recommended dose.
Prepare the working solution immediately before application. The working solution must be used on the day of preparation. Fill the sprayer tank to 1/3 with water, add the full dose of the product, and top up with the remaining water. Preparation of the working solution and filling of the sprayer should be conducted on designated areas that will subsequently be decontaminated. Preparation of working solutions is not allowed in the absence of mechanization.
Use ground boom sprayers of the following brands: «Amazon», OPSh-15-01, OPSh-15, OP-2000-2-01.
Optimal results and maximum herbicidal effect are achieved:
when applied to the leaves of young, actively growing weed plants;
when applied to crops at air temperatures above +10°C (herbicidal effect slows down at lower temperatures below +10°C);
when used in tank mixtures;
for maximum herbicidal effect, the solution temperature should be between +10°C and +20°C;
in cases of high weed infestation and active weed growth, use the maximum recommended dose.
Phytotoxicity
No cases of phytotoxicity were observed when the product was applied according to recommended timing and dosage rates.
Recommendations for protecting beneficial flora and fauna
The product is low-risk to bees and fish — risk class 3.
Compliance with the basic provisions of the «Instructions for preventing bee poisoning by pesticides» and the following ecological regulations:
conduct spraying during morning and evening hours with wind speed up to 4-5 m/sec; bee protection buffer zone — 1-2 km;
restriction of bee flight — 6-12 hours.
Notify apiary owners at least 4-5 days prior to spraying.
Application of the product is prohibited in private subsidiary farms, by aerial methods, and in sanitary zones around fishery water bodies within 500 m from the flood boundary at maximum flood levels, but not closer than 2 km from existing shorelines.
Transportation and storage conditions
Observe all standard rules for transporting toxic substances. Store the product in a designated pesticide storage facility. Storage temperature range from -25°C to +25°C. At low temperatures, precipitation may occur, which disappears upon reaching room temperature. Stir the product before use.
