Unique herbicide for the eradication of all types of sow thistle and other weeds
Lontrel Grand — water-soluble granules containing 75% cloquinal in the form of potassium salt.
Lontrel penetrates leaves very well and is translocated to growing points, roots, and rootstocks.
Lontrel exhibits exceptional activity against yellow sow thistle, pink sow thistle, and its varieties throughout all weed growth stages; it destroys not only the above-ground but also the underground parts of sow thistles, clearing fields of these weeds for subsequent crop rotation.
Lontrel does not exert phytotoxic effects on protected crops. It is not recommended to sow leguminous crops on these plots the following year if Lontrel was applied at high rates.
Lontrel's effectiveness is not reduced if rain falls 2 hours after application.
Lontrel 300 has been used in CIS countries for about 20 years and is well known in agricultural production due to its effectiveness.
Lontrel Grand contains 750 g/kg cloquinal in water-soluble granules and is a more modern formulation by the company.
Advantages of the new Lontrel formulation:
no problems during transport and storage at low temperatures;
reduced dosage rate per hectare (1 liter of Lontrel 300 is applied to 3 hectares, while 1 kg of Lontrel Grand is applied to 8 hectares);
more convenient to use;
safe for humans and the environment.
