F1 Goliath — a high-yielding, mid-early hybrid; enters fruiting stage on day 118-125 after emergence. The plant is vigorous, bushy, and reaches a height of 170-250 cm. Fruits are very large, pear-shaped with dense flesh, heavy, measuring 20-27×17-19 cm; weighing 650-1100 g. Fruit color is dark-purple, flesh is greenish and dense. Spines are sparse, calyx is green. Fruits have high flavor quality. Characterized by a prolonged fruiting period, high and stable yield (14.2-16.3 kg/m2). Resistant to tobacco mosaic virus. Recommended for cultivation in glass and plastic-covered heated greenhouses. Planting density 2-3 plants/m2. Requires pruning and tying to 2 stems.
