Description Olga
Sparagous bean variety Olga is a medium-maturing bush-type variety with a vegetation period of about 82 days. Plants are compact, 40-50 cm tall, forming green pods 13-15 cm long and 8-11 mm in diameter. Beans are straight, yellow, 10-12 cm long, without a hard parchment layer or fibers, ensuring excellent taste and higher sugar content. This variety is valued for its high and stable yield, as well as its versatility in culinary use, both as young pods and mature seeds.

Olga bean is resistant to several diseases, including bacterial burns, anthracnose, and yellow mosaic virus, which contributes to reliable cultivation and reduced crop losses. The plant is warm-loving, with an optimal growth temperature of 18-24°C; seeds germinate at 8-10°C, and plants die at temperatures around 1°C. For sowing, the recommended method is the cluster method, when soil temperature at a depth of 5-7 cm reaches 10°C. Sowing can be conducted from March to May with 10-15-day intervals to extend the harvest period.

Olga bean variety is suitable for fresh consumption, as well as for canning and freezing. Seeds are supplied ready for planting, requiring no additional treatment. Due to its characteristics and disease resistance, this variety is an excellent choice for cultivation in moderately moist soils with moderate watering, ensuring a stable and high-quality yield for culinary purposes.
