Dahlia KILIMANJARO

A regal centerpiece for your garden

The “Kilimanjaro” dahlia from the “Vashe khozyaystvo” brand is the ultimate choice for those who value architectural precision and flawless geometry in their floral displays. Unlike loose or sprawling varieties, this hybrid maintains a true “ball” shape, producing dense, double-flowered heads that resemble snow-capped mountain peaks.

Growing habits and site requirements

Reaching a height of 120–150 cm, this dahlia demands a strategic placement. It works perfectly as a dramatic backdrop for mixed borders or as a commanding feature in large container arrangements. The towering stems require sturdy staking—this is the “vulnerable” point of any high-grower, and proper support is essential to prevent wind damage.

Why choose “Kilimanjaro”?

• Container Versatility: The hybrid is exceptionally well-suited for pot and planter cultivation. If your garden suffers from heavy, poorly drained clay soils, growing “Kilimanjaro” in containers is the most effective way to protect its root system and ensure vigorous growth.
• Structural Integrity: While many decorative dahlias tend to droop or splay under the weight of their own blooms, the spherical form of this variety remains compact and tight throughout the season.
• Brand Reliability: “Vashe khozyaystvo” provides rigorous selection control, ensuring that the plant stays true to its stated height and color specifications.

This variety is ideal for experienced gardeners prepared to provide consistent watering and feeding during the growing season. If you are looking for an accent plant that commands attention through sheer monumentality, “Kilimanjaro” will become the centerpiece of your collection.
