The 'MON Amur' dahlia by 'Vashe Khozyaystvo' is a case where the result is immediately visible and requires minimal effort during the growing season. Growing experience and maintenance

As someone involved in landscaping, I can note that the low-growing dahlias of this series are extremely low-maintenance. The root system develops steadily, and the stems are rigid enough to hold the blooms even in gusty winds—eliminating the need for stakes or support nets.

• Planting: 'MON Amur' thrives in well-lit areas with well-drained soil. If you plan to plant in pots, ensure a capacity of at least 5–7 liters per plant.
• Irrigation: The variety handles moderate fluctuations in moisture well, but for profuse flowering, it requires regular root-level watering, especially during hot spells.
• Maintenance: The main task is deadheading. This stimulates new blooms and maintains the bush's decorative appearance until the first frost.

These dahlias create a dense "flower carpet" that covers the soil, helping to suppress weeds. Unlike taller varieties, 'MON Amur' does not lean and does not require complex pruning in the autumn—simply dig up the tubers after the first light frosts and move them to a cool place for storage.
