Tulip Mon Amour – a bright and attractive flower that immediately catches the eye with its rich yellow coloring with fringed edges on the petals. The bud height is about 6–8 cm, and the full plant size reaches 45 cm, making it a noticeable element in the flower bed. Blooming lasts about three weeks in May, and during this period the flower maintains its brightness and freshness.
The variety is characterized by good frost resistance, however, it poorly withstands excessively wet soil, therefore for successful growth it is better to choose well-drained soils. Mon Amour combines perfectly with other plants thanks to its contrasting yellow color and can be used as an accent in group plantings or in a row, creating the effect of a bright carpet.
Mon Amour is also known for its multi-colored petals: the outer petals are creamy-yellow, transitioning to a gently lilac color inside. Such a combination makes it a popular choice for decorative compositions and bouquets, and also allows using the plant as an accent element in garden landscapes.
