Medium-ripening variety, obtained at the Minusinsk Experimental Station for Horticulture and Melon Cultivation by crossing the 'Krasny Krest' variety with local seedling 7-16 in 1971. Breeders: V.F. Cherkashin, T.K. Smykova. Since 2005, included in the State Register of Selection Achievements approved for use in the East Siberian region.
Medium-height, medium-spreading, medium-dense bush. Non-woody shoots of medium thickness, slightly curved, green, hairless. Woody shoots thick, dark gray, straight, hairy, matte. Buds solitary, elongated, small, dark gray, hairy, deviated, apical bud non-free. Leaf scar round.
Leaf of medium size, green, medium-hairy, wrinkled, leathery. Five lobes, basal lobes well expressed. Middle lobe exceeds lateral ones, long, blunt, with protrusions. Lateral lobes of medium length, broad, tips sharp, directed sideways, angle between lateral lobe veins acute. Teeth blunt, short, not curled, veins not colored. Leaf base straight, with a medium notch. Lower surface slightly hairy. Leaf petiole long, light green, positioned at an acute angle.
Flowers of medium size, blue-violet, with distinct ridge. Sepals yellowish, not fused, slightly bent. Inflorescences of medium length (up to 7.5 cm), medium density. Axis of medium thickness, curved, petiole hairless.
Berries large (0.8-1.0 g), one-dimensional, round, slightly yellowish, thin skin, dry detachment. Seeds large, average quantity. Taste sour-sweet, rating 4.6 points. Berries of universal use. Receptacle closed, medium. Pedicel of medium length, green, thin. Chemical composition: total sugar content — 9.5%, titratable acidity — 1.6%, ascorbic acid — 54.0 mg/100 g.
Highly winter-hardy, moderately drought-resistant, heat-tolerant, yield 8.2 t/ha (2.5 kg/plant), medium self-fertility (35%), resistant to powdery mildew, gall mite.
Advantages of the variety: winter hardiness, early fruiting, high annual yield, comprehensive resistance to major pests and diseases.
Disadvantages of the variety: large seeds, insufficient transportability.
