A very late-maturing variety, developed at the All-Russian Research Institute for Selection of Fruit Crops from crossing the varieties Rotte Schpeltze and Minnesota. Breeders: L.V. Bayanova, O.D. Golieva. Tested in state trials since 2001.
The bush is tall, slightly spreading, medium in density. Stems are thick, straight, matte, green, with weak anthocyanic coloring. The pubescence of the growing stem is moderate.
Leaves are three- to five-lobed, large, green, matte, leathery, with moderate pubescence on the underside. Leaf blade has slightly raised edges, straight in the upper part of the stem, positioned at a 45° angle to the stem. Lobes are pointed, with small indentations between the central and lateral lobes. The angle formed by the central veins of the lateral lobes is acute. Leaf base is straight. Teeth are large and blunt. Petiole is short, thick, green, with a red "tan" at the base.
Flowers are medium-sized, saucer-shaped. Sepals are yellow-green, with absent or very weak anthocyanic coloring, not fused, twisted. Receptacle is green, weakly expressed. Inflorescences are long (up to 12.0 cm with petiole), dense. Axis and petiole of the inflorescence are thick, pubescent, with anthocyanic coloring. Petiole of the inflorescence is long.
Berries are large (0.6–0.9 g), round, red, sweet-sour, with high gelling properties. Receptacle is open. Chemical composition: dry matter — 10.8%, total sugars — 7.1%, titratable acidity — 2.5%, ascorbic acid — 52.1%, P-active substances — 385.0 mg/100 g, pectin substances — 10.2%.
The variety is winter-hardy, productive, with an average yield of 15.8 t/ha (2.3 kg/plant under a planting scheme of 0.5 x 2.8 m), resistant to powdery mildew, but susceptible to septoria.
Advantages of the variety: large berry size, high pectin content and quality of processed products (jelly), resistance to powdery mildew.
Disadvantages of the variety: insufficiently high flavor quality of berries, susceptibility to septoria.
