Description Govtva
Govtva blackcurrant variety is a medium-ripening variety, developed in Ukraine by crossing Poltava 800 and Belorussian Sweet varieties. The bushes of this variety are medium-sized and semi-spreading, which ensures ease of care and harvesting. The berries are fairly large, weighing from 1.3 to 4.5 grams, with a dense skin and dense greenish-brown flesh. They have a pleasant sour-sweet taste rated 4.1–4.3 points, as well as a distinct aroma. The berries ripen uniformly and detach dryly from the stem, facilitating harvest and reducing losses.

The Govtva variety is characterized by high yield and good resistance to adverse conditions. It is cold-hardy and drought-tolerant, allowing cultivation in various climatic zones. Moreover, this variety exhibits good resistance to powdery mildew and stem rust, reducing the need for frequent protective treatments and simplifying plant care.

For successful cultivation of Govtva blackcurrant, adequate lighting and regular watering are recommended. The variety is suitable for both home gardening and farming. Due to its characteristics and qualities, Govtva is an excellent choice for those who appreciate tasty, aromatic berries with good storability and disease resistance.
