The berries of the Favorite black currant are large, weighing 3-4 grams, of round shape, black in color with a shiny surface. They are juicy, sweet and aromatic, with a thin skin, which makes them attractive for fresh consumption and various culinary purposes. Fruit ripening occurs in mid-summer, approximately from July 20, which allows harvesting by the end of the second week of July. The yield from one bush ranges from 2 to 3.5 kilograms.
For successful cultivation of the Favorite variety, it is important to ensure timely watering and regular care, including spring, summer, and autumn pruning. Despite the high quality of the berries, they are not suitable for mechanized harvesting and do not tolerate transportation well, so it is best to use them immediately after collection.
