WHITE DRAGON

Cucumber variety 'White Dragon' is a hybrid parthenocarpic type, suitable for cultivation in both open ground and protected soil. The plant is characterized by its vigorous growth and long vines, with moderate branching and light-green leaves. The variety exhibits high germination rate and strong resistance to diseases, including resistance to cladosporiosis and cucumber mosaic virus. It tolerates fluctuations in day and night temperatures, as well as rain and drought, but does not withstand strong wind gusts.

The fruits of 'White Dragon' cucumber have white skin with large wart-like formations, which may appear sparsely or densely depending on growing conditions. The fruits are cylindrical, smooth, 25 to 40 cm long, with thin skin and light, dense flesh. As they ripen, the color of the fruits changes from white with greenish tinge to milky-white. The fruits have a delicate flavor and subtle aroma, with no bitterness, making them ideal for fresh consumption and preservation.

This variety belongs to the mid-early maturing hybrids, with a period from germination to fruiting ranging from 38 to 52 days. It is self-pollinating with partial parthenocarpy, ensuring high productivity and stable fruiting. One to two fruits form at each node, contributing to abundant yield. 'White Dragon' cucumbers are excellent for salad use due to their taste qualities and attractive appearance.
