Cucumber Pasadoro F1

Consistent Performance in Greenhouse Production

For commercial greenhouse operations, the Pasadoro F1 cucumber hybrid from Syngenta is a reliable choice for consistent, high-yield production cycles. This parthenocarpic hybrid is specifically engineered to perform under controlled environments, removing the logistical complexities of bumblebee management while ensuring stable fruiting.

Practical Field Advantages

The core value proposition of Pasadoro F1 lies in its genetic robustness. Designed to withstand the most common greenhouse threats, this variety offers high resistance to Cucumber Mosaic Virus (CMV), Cladosporium (leaf mold), and powdery mildew. By integrating this hybrid into a crop rotation, agronomists can significantly reduce the frequency of chemical pesticide applications, promoting a more sustainable and cost-effective management strategy.

• Accelerated Harvest: With a maturity cycle of 45–50 days, Pasadoro F1 allows for quick turnover, enabling growers to respond rapidly to market demand fluctuations.
• Marketable Quality: The fruit features a distinct dark green color and pronounced tuberous texture, which holds up exceptionally well during post-harvest handling and long-distance transport to retail chains.
• Optimized Plant Architecture: The balance between vegetative growth and generative output ensures that labor for pruning and training remains manageable, streamlining daily operational tasks.

In practice, Pasadoro F1 shows high adaptability to fertigation regimes. It thrives in commercial greenhouses where climate control and nutrient management are prioritized, making it a staple variety for growers who demand consistent crop quality and disease resistance from their genetic stock.
