Description Tumi
Tumi F1 is an early parthenocarpic hybrid of the cornichon type, developed by the Dutch seed company Enza Zaden. The vegetative period of this variety is 38-40 days, allowing it to be grown in spring, summer, and autumn under plastic covers in greenhouses, as well as in open ground. Plants are characterized by excellent growth and development, resistance to temperature fluctuations and stressful conditions, making them a reliable choice for various climatic conditions.

The fruits of the Tumi cucumber have a cylindrical shape, dark green color, and a large-bump surface with white spines, while the pubescence is practically absent. The average fruit length ranges from 10 to 15 cm, and the weight reaches 80-110 grams. The length-to-diameter ratio is approximately 3.2-3.3:1. One to two fruits form per node, and they do not have white stripes at the tip. High fruit quality combines with their high transportability and stable fruiting even in cool weather.

Plants have a strong root system and high resistance to typical cucumber diseases, ensuring a high overall yield and the possibility of cultivation in the first and second crop rotations. Active formation of lateral shoots contributes to long-term fruiting. The Tumi hybrid is suitable for cultivation in both plastic and glass greenhouses, as well as under covers in open ground, making it a versatile and profitable choice for farmers and gardeners.
