Cucumber UNIKUM

Cucumber Unikum F1 is a self-pollinating parthenocarpic hybrid of cornichon type with ultra-early maturity — fruits are ready for harvest as early as 40-42 days after planting. The plant is strong, well-leafed, with a well-developed root system, ensuring high yield and resistance to temperature fluctuations. Fruits have a dark green, saturated color, large spines, and dense structure without cavities, making them attractive for fresh market, pickling, and canning. Cucumber length is typically 8-10 cm, weight — 90-95 grams, and 3-4 fruits form per node, contributing to high crop productivity.

Hybrid Unikum F1 is distinguished by excellent transportability, good market appearance, and a pleasant taste without bitterness. It is versatile in use: suitable for fresh consumption, culinary processing, processing, and pickling. Due to its high regeneration rate and resistance to stress conditions, the plant can be successfully grown in open and covered ground, as well as under temporary shelters, tunnels, and mulches. Planting norms vary depending on soil type, allowing for optimized yield.

Special attention is paid to the hybrid's resistance to major cucumber diseases, such as powdery mildew, cladosporiosis, and vein yellowing virus, significantly reducing the risk of crop losses. Unikum F1 features a cluster-type fruit set and the ability to form large, seedless, ribbed fruits with excellent flavor and aroma. These qualities make it a sought-after variety for cultivation in various climatic conditions and ensure a stable, high-quality yield.
